April 14, 2023: Roanoke, IL 61561 The Roanoke-Benson/Lowpoint-Washburn Rockets baseball team (Roanoke, IL), was overwhelmed 15-0 in Friday's non-league outing with the visiting Heyworth Hornets (Heyworth, IL)
The Hornets now hold a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tri-Valley for a Heart of Illinois outing on Monday, April 17. Heyworth will confront a Vikings team coming off a 6-3 league loss to Tremont (Tremont, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 7-6.
Next, the Rockets confront the St. Bede Bruins (Peru, IL) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, April 15. Roanoke-Benson/Lowpoint-Washburn will attempt to advance on its 5-8 season record. The Bruins go into the outing with a 9-4 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to Sherrard (Sherrard, IL).
