Kansas High School Baseball - Newton loses to Maize South
April 14, 2023: Wichita, KS 67205 The Maize South Mavericks crushed the visiting Newton Railroaders baseball team by a tally of 13-1 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Mavericks now hold a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Valley Center for a non-league bout on Tuesday, April 18.
Next, the Railroaders face the Maize Eagles (Maize, KS) in a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division I bout, on Tuesday, April 18. Newton will attempt to advance on its 6-3 season record.
