Gross Catholic Cougars (Omaha, NE) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Bellevue East Chieftains (Bellevue, NE), 17-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Gross Catholic upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Cougars travel to Mount Michael Benedictine (Elkhorn, NE) to battle the Knights in a non-league test on Monday, April 17. The Knights come into the test with a record of 1-3. Mount Michael Benedictine won 15-8 in their recent non-league test against Elkhorn (Elkhorn, NE)

With the defeat, Bellevue East falls to 5-8 on the season. The Chieftains travel to Omaha South (Omaha, NE) to battle the Packers in a test on Tuesday, April 18.
