April 14, 2023: Poquoson, VA 23662 In Friday's non-league battle, the host Poquoson Islanders soccer squad scored a close 5-1 triumph over the Denbigh Patriots.
The Islanders (3-5) will now prepare for their battle against York (Yorktown, VA). The Falcons come into the Bay Rivers battle with a 3-3 record. In their last battle, York nudged New Kent (New Kent, VA), 3-1, in a league battle.
The Patriots (1-6) will now prepare for their battle against Phoebus (Hampton, VA). The Phantoms come into the Peninsula battle with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, Phoebus nudged Heritage (Newport News, VA), 5-0, in a league bout.
