Meridian Mustangs (Falls Church, VA) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Liberty Eagles (Bealeton, VA), 5-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs confront the Tuscarora Huskies (Leesburg, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, April 17. Meridian will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record. The Huskies enter the challenge with a 5-0 record after their 5-1 league win over Loudoun Valley (Purcellville, VA).

The Eagles now have a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sherando for a Northwestern challenge on Tuesday, April 18. Liberty will confront a Warriors team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Handley (Winchester, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 2-6.
