Oklahoma High School Soccer - Sallisaw nudges Poteau
April 14, 2023: Poteau, OK 74953 Sallisaw Black Diamonds (Sallisaw, OK) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Poteau Pirates (Poteau, OK), 1-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Black Diamonds confront the Hilldale Hornets (Muskogee, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, April 21. Sallisaw will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Hornets enter the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 4-0 league win over Fort Gibson (Fort Gibson, OK).
The Pirates now have a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they host Stilwell for a 4A District 6 challenge on Monday, April 17.
