Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies (Elk Point, SD) and the visiting Beresford Watchdogs (Beresford, SD), witnessed Elk Point-Jefferson's softball squad prevail over Beresford by a count of 16-1.

The Huskies now sport a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to West Central for a match on Monday, April 17. Elk Point-Jefferson will face a Trojans squad coming off a 17-0 league win over Lennox (Lennox, SD). The Trojans record now stands at 1-0.
