April 14, 2023: Grandville, MI 49418 Grandville Bulldogs (Grandville, MI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Byron Center Bulldogs (Byron Center, MI), 4-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Bulldogs now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jenison for a Ottawa-Kent - Red challenge on Tuesday, April 18. Grandville will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 16-0 league win over West Ottawa (Holland, MI). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Byron Center falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Lowell (Lowell, MI) to face the Red Arrows in a Ottawa-Kent - White challenge on Tuesday, April 18. The Red Arrows enter the challenge with a record of 5-0. Lowell won 14-2 in their recent non-league challenge against East Kentwood (Kentwood, MI)
