Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Kokomo Wildkats (Kokomo, IN) and the visiting Caston Comets (Fulton, IN), witnessed Kokomo's softball squad tip Caston by a count of 5-2.

The Wildkats now sport a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Cathedral for a non-league match on Monday, April 17. Kokomo will meet a Fighting Irish squad coming off a 14-4 non-league loss to Danville (Danville, IN). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 4-3.
