April 14, 2023: De Leon, TX 76444 In Friday's league contest, the De Leon Bearcats (De Leon, TX) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Ranger Bulldogs (Ranger, TX), by a margin of 15-5.
With the triumph, De Leon moves its record to 5-4 on the year. The Bearcats travel to Tolar (Tolar, TX) to play the Rattlers in a 2A Region II District 11 contest on Tuesday, April 18. The Rattlers come into the contest with a record of 17-1. Tolar won 13-0 in their recent non-league contest against Gordon (Gordon, TX)
In their next game, the Bulldogs play the Lipan Indians (Lipan, TX) in a 2A Region II District 11 contest, on Tuesday, April 18. Ranger will attempt to move on its 1-6 season record. The Indians come into the contest with a 7-6 record after their 21-0 league win over Santo (Santo, TX).
