April 14, 2023: Ferndale, WA 98248 Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Ferndale Golden Eagles (Ferndale, WA) and the visiting LaConner Braves (LaConner, WA), witnessed Ferndale's softball squad prevail over LaConner by a count of 12-3.
The Golden Eagles now sport a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Nooksack Valley for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest match on Tuesday, April 18. Ferndale will face a Pioneers squad coming off a 19-3 non-league loss to Montesano (Montesano, WA). The Pioneers record now stands at 1-3.
With the loss, LaConner moves to 0-11 on the season. The Braves host Concrete (Concrete, WA) to face the Lions in a 1B/2B Northwest match on Wednesday, April 19. The Lions go into the match with a record of 0-6.
