Pennsylvania High School Softball - Southern Huntingdon County bounces Juniata Valley
April 14, 2023: Alexandria, PA 16611 The Southern Huntingdon County Rockets (Three Springs, PA) softball routed the host Juniata Valley Hornets (Alexandria, PA), 12-0 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Rockets (7-1) will now prepare for their bout against McConnellsburg (McConnellsburg, PA). The Spartans go into the Sideling Hill bout with a 2-3 record. In their last bout, McConnellsburg toppled Northern Bedford County (Loysburg, PA), 10-9, in a league bout.
The Hornets now possess a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Williamsburg for a Inter County - North bout on Tuesday, April 18. Juniata Valley will confront a Blue Pirates squad coming off a 10-1 league win over Moshannon Valley (Houtzdale, PA). The Blue Pirates record now stands at 2-5.
