California High School Softball - Miramonte bounces Tennyson
April 14, 2023: Hayward, CA 94544 The crowd at Friday's non-league match between the Miramonte Matadors (Orinda, CA) and the host Tennyson Lancers (Hayward, CA), saw Miramonte's softball squad achieve victory over Tennyson by a count of 26-9.
The Matadors now sport a 1-11 record. They take the field next when they host Mt. Diablo for a Diablo - Mountain match on Tuesday, April 18. Miramonte will face a Red Devils squad coming off a 12-1 league win over Ygnacio Valley (Concord, CA). The Red Devils record now stands at 2-3.
With the loss, Tennyson falls to 0-7 on the campaign. The Lancers host Encinal (Alameda, CA) to face the Jets in a West Alameda County-Shoreline match on Tuesday, April 18. The Jets enter the match with a record of 5-7. Encinal won 20-7 in their recent non-league match against Piedmont (Piedmont, CA)
