The Castle Park Trojans baseball squad (Chula Vista, CA), was overwhelmed 9-1 in Monday's non-league contest with the host Kearny Komets (San Diego, CA)

With the triumph, Kearny moves its record to 4-11 on the season. The Komets host Crawford (San Diego, CA) to confront the Colts in a Central contest on Wednesday, April 16. The Colts come into the contest with a record of 8-7. Crawford won 6-0 in their recent non-league contest against Army-Navy (Carlsbad, CA)
