The Lincolnview Lancers baseball team scored 10 runs and held the host Marion Local Flyers to 5 in the Lancers non-league win on Monday.

The Lancers now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lima Senior for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 15. Lincolnview will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 9-2 non-league loss to Mansfield Senior (Mansfield, OH). The Spartans record now stands at 2-5.

With the defeat, Marion Local drops to 4-2 on the year. The Flyers host New Knoxville (New Knoxville, OH) to clash with the Rangers in a Midwest Athletic test on Tuesday, April 15. The Rangers go into the test with a record of 2-3. New Knoxville won 6-5 in their recent non-league test against Fairlawn (Sidney, OH)
