April 14, 2025: Newark, DE 19711 Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Delcastle Technical Cougars (Wilmington, DE) and the host Newark Charter School Patriots (Newark, DE), observed Delcastle Technical's volleyball team top Newark Charter School by a tally of 3-0.
The Cougars (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Christiana (Newark, DE). The Vikings enter the Blue Hen - Flight A contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Christiana was beaten by Salesianum (Wilmington, DE), 3-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Patriots meet the Archmere Academy Auks (Claymont, DE) in a Diamond State contest, on Wednesday, April 16. Newark Charter School will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Auks enter the contest with a 7-2 record after their 3-1 league loss to Wilmington Charter (Wilmington, DE).
