April 14, 2025: Sarasota, FL 34232 Palm Grove Christian Gators (Sarasota, FL) boosters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Winthrop College Prep Academy Spartans (Riverview, FL), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Palm Grove Christian improves its record to 11-2 on the season. The Gators travel to Venice (Venice, FL) to face the Indians in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 15. The Indians go into the test with a record of 9-1. Venice won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Gulf Coast HEAT (Sarasota, FL)
The Spartans now own a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Carrollwood Day for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 15. Winthrop College Prep Academy will face a Patriots squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to North Tampa Christian Academy (Wesley Chapel, FL). The Patriots record now stands at 3-6.
