Iowa High School Soccer - Des Moines Christian toppled by Dowling Catholic
April 14, 2025: Des Moines, IA 50323 Dowling Catholic Maroons (West Des Moines, IA) backers exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Des Moines Christian Lions (Des Moines, IA), 6-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Dowling Catholic advances its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Maroons travel to Johnston (Johnston, IA) to clash with the Dragons in a non-league test on Friday, April 25. The Dragons come into the test with a record of 1-0.
The Lions now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Pella Christian for a non-league test on Thursday, April 17. Des Moines Christian will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Ottumwa (Ottumwa, IA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-0.
