North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Wakefield bounces Cary

In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Wakefield Wolverines lacrosse squad scored a good 20-2 triumph over the Cary Imps.

The Wolverines (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Hunt (Wilson, NC). The Warriors come into the Northern Athletic/Quad County battle with a 3-5 record. In their last battle, Hunt was overwhelmed by Wake Forest (Wake Forest, NC), 22-3, in a league battle.

The Imps now sport a 0-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Apex for a Southwest Wake battle on Tuesday, April 15. Cary will encounter a Cougars team coming off a 20-2 league win over Green Level (Cary, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 11-1.
