April 14, 2025: Cromwell, CT 06416 The Cromwell Panthers lacrosse squad scored 9 points and limited the visiting New London Whalers to 7 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Monday.
The Panthers now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Branford for a Shoreline challenge on Tuesday, April 15. Cromwell will clash with a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 8-5 league loss to Morgan (Clinton, CT). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, New London falls to 3-2 on the year. The Whalers travel to Bacon Academy (Colchester, CT) to clash with the Bobcats in a Eastern Connecticut - II challenge on Saturday, April 19. The Bobcats go into the challenge with a record of 3-0.
