With the victory, Highland advances its record to 7-2 on the season. The Hornets travel to Roosevelt (Kent, OH) to encounter the Rough Riders in a Region 6 battle on Tuesday, April 15. The Rough Riders come into the battle with a record of 2-6. Roosevelt lost 7-5 in their recent non-league battle against St. Vincent-St. Mary (Akron, OH)
The Bulldogs now sport a 0-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hoover for a non-league battle on Thursday, April 17. Green will encounter a Vikings team coming off a 18-0 non-league win over GlenOak (Canton, OH). The Vikings record now stands at 4-0.
