Illinois High School Soccer - Elmwood Park knocks off Maine East
April 14, 2025: Park Ridge, IL 60068 Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the Elmwood Park Tigers (Elmwood Park, IL) and the host Maine East Blue Demons (Park Ridge, IL), saw Elmwood Park's soccer squad triumph over Maine East by a count of 7-0.
The Tigers (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Ridgewood (Norridge, IL). The Rebels go into the Upstate Eight East challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Ridgewood was overwhelmed by Elgin (Elgin, IL), 9-0, in a non-league challenge.
With the loss, Maine East moves to 1-8 on the year. The Blue demons travel to Elk Grove (Elk Grove Village, IL) to encounter the Grenadiers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 17. The Grenadiers go into the challenge with a record of 3-6. Elk Grove won 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Payton College Prep (Chicago, IL)
