Illinois High School Soccer - Grant Community knocks off Woodlands Academy
April 14, 2025: Lake Forest, IL 60045 The Grant Community Bulldogs soccer squad scored 7 points and held the host Woodlands Academy Wildcats to 0 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Monday.
The Bulldogs now possess a 3-5 record. They play next when they host Richmond-Burton for a non-league bout on Tuesday, April 15. Grant Community will play a Rockets squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Woodstock (Woodstock, IL). The Rockets record now stands at 3-4.
With the loss, Woodlands Academy moves to 1-3 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Chicago University (Chicago, IL) to play the Maroons in a Independent Schools bout on Tuesday, April 15. The Maroons go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Chicago University won 7-0 in their recent league bout against North Shore Country Day (Winnetka, IL)
