April 14, 2025: Berkeley, CA 94704 Miramonte Matadors (Orinda, CA) backers exited the stadium satisfied Monday as they saw their lacrosse team gain a win over the host Berkeley Yellowjackets (Berkeley, CA), 7-5 in a non-league game.
With the victory, Miramonte improves its record to 7-1 on the season. The Matadors host Las Lomas (Walnut Creek, CA) to play the Knights in a game on Friday, April 18. The Knights come into the game with a record of 0-3.
The Yellowjackets now have a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lick-Wilmerding for a non-league game on Wednesday, April 23. Berkeley will play a Tigers team coming off a 6-6 non-league Bishop O'Dowd (Oakland, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 0-1.
