Washington High School Soccer - Sumner nudges Graham-Kapowsin
April 14, 2025: Graham, WA 98338 Fans at Monday's league battle between the Sumner Spartans (Sumner, WA) and the host Graham-Kapowsin Eagles (Graham, WA), saw Sumner's soccer squad hold off Graham-Kapowsin by a score of 2-1.
The Spartans (8-1) will now prepare for their battle against Curtis (University Place, WA). The Vikings enter the 4A South Puget Sound battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, Curtis tipped Bonney Lake (Bonney Lake, WA), 1-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Eagles confront the South Kitsap Wolves (Port Orchard, WA) in a 4A South Puget Sound battle, on Wednesday, April 16. Graham-Kapowsin will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Wolves enter the battle with a 3-6 record after their 4-0 league loss to Puyallup (Puyallup, WA).
