The Columbia Cougars triumphed over the visiting Newark Academy Minutemen softball squad by a count of 14-4 in Monday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Cougars play the Livingston Lancers (Livingston, NJ) in a SEC - American challenge, on Tuesday, April 15. Columbia will attempt to upgrade on its 4-0 season record. The Lancers enter the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Verona (Verona, NJ).
