April 14, 2025: Alma, MO 64001 The Santa Fe Chiefs softball squad (Alma, MO), was routed 15-1 in Monday's league contest with the visiting Crest Ridge Cougars (Centerview, MO)
With the triumph, Crest Ridge improves its record to 8-3 on the year. The Cougars travel to Kingsville (Kingsville, MO) to face the Tigers in a Class 1 District 8 contest on Tuesday, April 15. The Tigers enter the contest with a record of 2-7. Kingsville won 19-16 in their recent league contest against Wellington-Napoleon (Wellington, MO)
The Chiefs now hold a 4-7 record. They play next when they travel to Sweet Springs for a non-league contest on Wednesday, April 16. Santa Fe will face a Greyhounds squad coming off a 16-1 non-league win over Orrick (Orrick, MO). The Greyhounds record now stands at 10-5.
