With the triumph, Genoa Central improves its record to 16-5 on the year. The Dragons travel to Nashville (Nashville, AR) to face the Scrappers in a non-league contest on Wednesday, April 16. The Scrappers enter the contest with a record of 14-7. Nashville won 15-1 in their recent non-league contest against Malvern (Malvern, AR)
The Hornets now hold a 9-9 record. They play next when they travel to Smackover for a 3A Region 7 contest on Friday, April 18. Harmony Grove will face a Buckaroos squad coming off a 10-2 non-league win over Drew Central (Monticello, AR). The Buckaroos record now stands at 13-1.
