Connecticut High School Lacrosse - Iona Prep overwhelms Glastonbury
April 14, 2026: Glastonbury, CT 06033 The Iona Prep Gaels lacrosse squad scored 17 points and limited the host Glastonbury Guardians to 6 in the Gaels non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Gaels now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Archbishop Stepinac for a Catholic - Island challenge on Thursday, April 16. Iona Prep will clash with a Crusaders squad coming off a 9-8 non-league win over Greeley (Chappaqua, NY). The Crusaders record now stands at 2-2.
With the loss, Glastonbury falls to 0-2 on the year. The Guardians travel to Cheshire (Cheshire, CT) to clash with the Rams in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 17. The Rams go into the challenge with a record of 4-0.
