Spectators at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Central Mustangs (Salina, KS) and the visiting Junction City Bluejays (Junction City, KS), saw Central's baseball squad knock off Junction City by a count of 11-1.

Coming up next, the Mustangs play the Newton Railroaders (Newton, KS) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, April 20. Central will attempt to move on its 6-3 season record. The Railroaders enter the battle with a 2-9 record after their 6-2 league loss to Maize (Maize, KS).

The Bluejays now possess a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host Highland Park for a Centennial battle on Thursday, April 15. Junction City will play a Scots squad coming off a 23-0 non-league win over Schlagle (Kansas City, KS). The Scots record now stands at 1-2.
