Spectators at Friday's non-league battle between the North Montgomery Chargin' Chargers (Crawfordsville, IN) and the visiting Covington Trojans (Covington, IN), saw North Montgomery's baseball squad knock off Covington by a count of 15-5.

Coming up next, the Chargin' Chargers play the Lafayette Jefferson Bronchos (Lafayette, IN) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, April 16. North Montgomery will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Bronchos enter the battle with a 4-6 record after their 7-3 non-league win over Peru (Peru, IN).
