April 15, 2022: Corryton, TN 37721 The Powell Panthers baseball team scored 5 runs and limited the host Gibbs Eagles to 1 in the Panthers non-league victory on Friday.
The Panthers (16-2) will now prepare for their match against Science Hill (Johnson City, TN). The Hilltoppers go into the non-league match with a 16-4 record. In their last match, Science Hill edged Greeneville (Greeneville, TN), 10-0, in a non-league match.
The Eagles (5-8) will now prepare for their match against Alcoa (Alcoa, TN). The Tornadoes go into the non-league match with a 12-7 record. In their last match, Alcoa was overwhelmed by Loudon (Loudon, TN), 14-5, in a non-league match.
