Washington High School Baseball - Yelm wallops North Kitsap
April 15, 2022: Yelm, WA 98597 Spectators at Friday's non-league battle between the Yelm Tornados (Yelm, WA) and the visiting North Kitsap Vikings (Poulsbo, WA), saw Yelm's baseball squad knock off North Kitsap by a count of 10-0.
Coming up next, the Tornados play the River Ridge Hawks (Lacey, WA) in a 3A South Sound battle, on Monday, April 18. Yelm will attempt to move on its 1-6 season record. The Hawks enter the battle with a 4-3 record after their 8-6 non-league win over Montesano (Montesano, WA).
The Vikings now possess a 9-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bainbridge for a 2A Olympic battle on Tuesday, April 19. North Kitsap will play a Spartans squad coming off a 17-1 league win over Sequim (Sequim, WA). The Spartans record now stands at 10-1.
