April 15, 2022: Blairsville, GA 30512 The crowd at Friday's non-league test between the Union County Panthers (Blairsville, GA) and the visiting Elite Scholars Academy Royal Knights (Jonesboro, GA), saw Union County's soccer squad triumph over Elite Scholars Academy by a margin of 8-2.
The Panthers now sport a 14-2 record. They play next when they travel to Woodville-Tompkins for a non-league test on Thursday, April 21. Union County will meet a Wolverines squad coming off a 7-1 non-league win over Jefferson County (Louisville, GA). The Wolverines record now stands at 11-6.
With the loss, Elite Scholars Academy drops to 5-5 on the season.
