Kansas High School Softball - Topeka nudges Lawrence Free State
April 15, 2022: Lawrence, KS 66049 Topeka Trojans (Topeka, KS) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Lawrence Free State Firebirds (Lawrence, KS), 9-8 in a non-league challenge.
The Trojans now sport a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Olathe Northwest for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 15. Topeka will face a Ravens squad coming off a 12-2 non-league win over Lawrence (Lawrence, KS). The Ravens record now stands at 4-2.
With the loss, Lawrence Free State falls to 4-3 on the campaign. The Firebirds travel to Holton (Holton, KS) to face the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 15.
