Conneaut Area Eagles (Linesville, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Fairview Tigers (Fairview, PA), 5-4 in a non-league test.

With the win, Conneaut Area upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Eagles host Oil City (Oil City, PA) to battle the Oilers in a District 10 Region 2 test on Monday, April 17. The Oilers come into the test with a record of 3-4. Oil City won 6-2 in their recent league test against Hickory (Hermitage, PA)

With the defeat, Fairview falls to 4-2 on the season. The Tigers travel to Girard (Girard, PA) to clash with the Yellowjackets in a District 10 Region 4 game on Monday, April 17. The Yellowjackets go into the game with a record of 2-3. Girard won 15-0 in their recent league game against Seneca (Erie, PA)
