New York High School Baseball - South Glens Falls nips Niskayuna
April 15, 2023: Niskayuna, NY 12309 South Glens Falls Bulldogs (South Glens Falls, NY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Niskayuna Silver Warriors (Niskayuna, NY), 7-6 in a non-league test.
With the win, South Glens Falls upgrades its record to 1-5 on the season. The Bulldogs host Queensbury (Queensbury, NY) to battle the Spartans in a Section 2 Foothills test on Tuesday, April 18. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 4-2. Queensbury won 9-7 in their recent league test against Johnstown (Johnstown, NY)
With the defeat, Niskayuna falls to 3-4 on the season. The Silver warriors travel to Shaker (Latham, NY) to battle the Bison in a Section 2 Suburban - Blue test on Monday, April 17. The Bison come into the test with a record of 3-1. Shaker lost 10-5 in their recent league test against Ballston Spa (Ballston Spa, NY)
