Washington High School Baseball - Peninsula gets by Stadium
April 15, 2023: Tacoma, WA 98403 Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Peninsula Seahawks (Gig Harbor, WA) and the host Stadium Tigers (Tacoma, WA), saw Peninsula's baseball squad knock off Stadium by a count of 3-1.
Coming up next, the Seahawks play the River Ridge Hawks (Lacey, WA) in a 3A South Sound battle, on Tuesday, April 18. Peninsula will attempt to move on its 8-5 season record. The Hawks enter the battle with a 2-5 record after their 5-1 league loss to Central Kitsap (Silverdale, WA).
The Tigers now possess a 13-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bonney Lake for a 3A Pierce County battle on Tuesday, April 18. Stadium will play a Panthers squad coming off a 8-5 non-league loss to White River (Buckley, WA). The Panthers record now stands at 9-6.
