Colorado High School Volleyball - Ponderosa overwhelmed by Discovery Canyon

In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Discovery Canyon Thunder volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Ponderosa Mustangs.

The Thunder (15-1) will now prepare for their battle against Fountain-Fort Carson (Fountain, CO). The Trojans come into the Pikes Peak 1 battle with a 9-2 record. In their last battle, Fountain-Fort Carson achieved victory over Mesa Ridge (Colorado Springs, CO), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Mustangs clash with the Rock Canyon Jaguars (Highlands Ranch, CO) in a Continental battle, on Tuesday, April 18. Ponderosa will attempt to advance on its 8-6 season record. The Jaguars come into the battle with a 5-13 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Pueblo South (Pueblo, CO).
