April 15, 2023: Monrovia, CA 91016 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Monrovia Wildcats (Monrovia, CA) and the visiting Oxford Academy Patriots (Cypress, CA), saw Monrovia's volleyball squad beat Oxford Academy by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Monrovia upgrades its record to 16-11 on the year. The Wildcats travel to San Marino (San Marino, CA) to play the Titans in a Rio Hondo bout on Tuesday, April 18. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 7-18. San Marino lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against South Pasadena (South Pasadena, CA)
The Patriots now own a 12-9 record. They play next when they travel to Cerritos for a 605 bout on Tuesday, April 18. Oxford Academy will play a Dons squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Orange Lutheran (Orange, CA). The Dons record now stands at 22-4.
