Illinois High School Soccer - Lyons knocks off Evanston
April 15, 2023: Evanston, IL 60201 Lyons Lions (LaGrange, IL) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Evanston Wildkits (Evanston, IL), 4-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Lions confront the Hinsdale Central Red Devils (Hinsdale, IL) in a West Suburban - Silver challenge, on Tuesday, April 18. Lyons will attempt to better on its 10-0 season record. The Red Devils enter the challenge with a 7-0 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Carmel (Mundelein, IL).
The Wildkits now have a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they host Glenbrook South for a Central Suburban - South challenge on Tuesday, April 18. Evanston will confront a Titans team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Naperville North (Naperville, IL). The Titans record now stands at 5-7.
