Colorado High School Soccer - Green Mountain held off by Northfield
April 15, 2023: Denver, CO 80238 The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the Northfield Nighthawks (Denver, CO) and the visiting Green Mountain Rams (Lakewood, CO), saw Northfield's soccer squad get by Green Mountain by a margin of 1-0.
The Nighthawks now sport a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to George Washington for a 4A/3A Denver test on Tuesday, April 18. Northfield will meet a Patriots squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Ponderosa (Parker, CO). The Patriots record now stands at 4-4.
With the loss, Green Mountain drops to 6-2 on the season. The Rams travel to Dakota Ridge (Littleton, CO) to meet the Eagles in a 4A Jefferson County test on Monday, April 17. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 6-1. Dakota Ridge won 3-0 in their recent league test against Standley Lake (Westminster, CO)
