Ohio High School Lacrosse - Mars held off by Upper Arlington
April 15, 2023: Columbus, OH 43221 Upper Arlington Golden Bears (Columbus, OH) boosters exited the stadium content Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad nip the visiting Mars Fightin' Planets (Mars, PA), 7-6 in a non-league battle.
The Golden Bears now own a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they host Olentangy Liberty for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 18. Upper Arlington will clash with a Patriots squad coming off a 16-7 non-league win over Jackson (Massillon, OH). The Patriots record now stands at 6-3.
In their next game, the Fightin' Planets clash with the Quaker Valley Quakers (Leetsdale, PA) in a WPIAL 2A 1 battle, on Wednesday, April 19. Mars will attempt to advance on its 11-1 season record. The Quakers come into the battle with a 5-2 record after their 18-3 league win over Plum (Pittsburgh, PA).
