Ohio High School Softball - Madison Plains bounces Bishop Ready
April 15, 2023: Columbus, OH 43204 Madison Plains Golden Eagles (London, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Bishop Ready Silver Knights (Columbus, OH), 9-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Golden Eagles now own a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they host Mechanicsburg for a Ohio Heritage North challenge on Tuesday, April 18. Madison Plains will battle a Indians squad coming off a 10-5 non-league win over Jonathan Alder (Plain City, OH). The Indians record now stands at 8-1.
With the loss, Bishop Ready falls to 1-8 on the campaign. The Silver knights host Bishop Hartley (Columbus, OH) to battle the Hawks in a Central Catholic challenge on Tuesday, April 18. The Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 6-5. Bishop Hartley won 9-7 in their recent non-league challenge against Newark Catholic (Newark, OH)
