April 15, 2023: Blue Eye, MO 65611 The Gainesville Bulldogs (Gainesville, MO) softball nipped the host Blue Eye Bulldogs (Blue Eye, MO), 3-2 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Bulldogs (1-3) will now prepare for their bout against Winona (Winona, MO). The Wildcats go into the non-league bout with a 2-9 record. In their last bout, Winona held off Couch (Myrtle, MO), 20-16, in a non-league bout.
The Bulldogs now possess a 3-9 record. They play next when they travel to Sparta for a Southwest Central bout on Monday, April 17. Blue Eye will confront a Trojans squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Skyline (Urbana, MO). The Trojans record now stands at 17-3.
