Ohio High School Softball - Briggs holds off Franklin Heights
April 15, 2023: Columbus, OH 43204 Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Briggs Bruins (Columbus, OH) and the host Franklin Heights Falcons (Columbus, OH), witnessed Briggs's softball squad tip Franklin Heights by a count of 14-12.
The Bruins now sport a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Independence for a Columbus City - South match on Wednesday, April 19.
With the loss, Franklin Heights moves to 0-11 on the season. The Falcons host Worthington Christian (Worthington, OH) to meet the Warriors in a non-league match on Tuesday, April 18. The Warriors go into the match with a record of 1-6. Worthington Christian lost 21-5 in their recent non-league match against Grove City Christian (Grove City, OH)
