Wisconsin High School Softball - Manawa bounces Gilman
April 15, 2023: Gilman, WI 54433 Manawa Wolves (Manawa, WI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Gilman Pirates (Gilman, WI), 11-7 in a non-league challenge.
The Wolves now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Wittenberg-Birnamwood for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 17. Manawa will face a Chargers squad coming off a 4-3 league win over Shiocton (Shiocton, WI). The Chargers record now stands at 6-2.
With the loss, Gilman falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Owen-Withee (Owen, WI) to face the Blackhawks in a Cloverbelt challenge on Tuesday, April 18. The Blackhawks enter the challenge with a record of 0-2. Owen-Withee lost 25-2 in their recent league challenge against Neillsville (Neillsville, WI)
