Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Leo Lions (Leo, IN) and the visiting Munster Mustangs (Munster, IN), witnessed Leo's softball squad tip Munster by a count of 9-7.

The Lions now sport a 8-0 record. They play next when they travel to Fort Wayne North Side for a non-league match on Tuesday, April 18.

With the loss, Munster moves to 7-7 on the season. The Mustangs host Hanover Central (Cedar Lake, IN) to face the Wildcats in a non-league match on Monday, April 17. The Wildcats go into the match with a record of 8-0. Hanover Central won 14-3 in their recent non-league match against Hobart (Hobart, IN)
