April 15, 2024: Ashdown, AR 71822 Spectators at Monday's non-league battle between the Ashdown Panthers (Ashdown, AR) and the visiting Redwater Dragons (Redwater, TX), saw Ashdown's baseball squad knock off Redwater by a count of 16-5.
Coming up next, the Panthers play the Arkadelphia Badgers (Arkadelphia, AR) in a 4A Region 7 battle, on Tuesday, April 16. Ashdown will attempt to move on its 12-8 season record. The Badgers enter the battle with a 10-4 record after their 8-7 non-league win over Ouachita (Donaldson, AR).
The Dragons now possess a 11-13 record. They take the field next when they host De Kalb for a 3A Region II District 14 battle on Friday, April 19. Redwater will play a Bears squad coming off a 9-3 league win over Hooks (Hooks, TX). The Bears record now stands at 15-7.
