Speedway Sparkplugs (Speedway, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Herron Achaeans (Indianapolis, IN), 23-5 in a non-league test.

With the win, Speedway upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Sparkplugs host Triton Central (Fairland, IN) to battle the Tigers in a Indiana Crossroads test on Tuesday, April 16. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 6-0. Triton Central won 18-1 in their recent league test against Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter (Indianapolis, IN)

With the defeat, Herron falls to 0-2 on the season. The Achaeans travel to Sheridan (Sheridan, IN) to battle the Blackhawks in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 16.
